Online Ordering

The initial ordering window for spring 2026 NM-MSSA ELA, SLA, Mathematics, grades 3-8 and Spanish Reading SBA High School paper-based test materials, starts on Monday, December 1, 2025.

  • The initial ordering window closes on Friday, January 9, 2026.
  • Paper test materials ordered in the initial ordering window will arrive in districts two weeks prior to testing administration start, by Friday, February 27, 2026.
  • The additional ordering window for both NM-MSSA paper test materials and Spanish Reading SBA paper test materials will run from February 23 through April 23, 2026.

How to access the Cognia Online Ordering System

1) Go to (opens in new tab) iServices.
2) Select “New Mexico” from the drop-down menu and click the “Enter” button.
3) Select “Order Test Materials”.
4) Select the appropriate Testing Administration from the drop-down menu (for example, NM-MSSA or NM Spanish Reading SBA HS Test Materials Shipment).
5) Follow the prompts to enter your User ID and Password. (Reminder: Your password for online ordering is DIFFERENT from the one for the online portal.)
6) You may now go to the "Orders” tab, select "Create an order" and begin creating your order.

Reminders for NM-MSSA and Spanish Reading SBA Paper-Based Test Materials Ordering

  • There is no cost to LEAs for neither NM-MSSA nor Spanish Reading SBA test materials for the current testing administration.
  • Therefore, there is no need to obtain a purchase order for which an invoice will be generated.
  • Please enter the current testing administration, e.g., “Spring YEAR (2xxx) NM-MSSA” as the PO# in the required field when entering your order for NM-MSSA paper test materials.
  • Please enter the current testing administration, e.g., “Spring YEAR (2xxx) Spanish Reading SBA” as the PO# in the required field when entering your order for SBA paper test materials.
  • Please contact the Cognia NM Client Care Center Team/Help Desk at 1-877-676-6722 with any online ordering questions.

UPS Pick-Up for SBA Paper Test Materials

Starting with Spring 2025, the UPS pickup process only applies to the Spanish Reading SBA paper test materials, as that is the only assessment for which paper test materials need to be returned for scoring.

NM-MSSA paper test materials are not returned to Cognia; instead, paper testers’ responses are to be entered in the online portal no later than the end of the online testing window.

SBA UPS Pickup Important Dates

  • Spanish Reading SBA pickup window: March 16, 2026 – April 28, 2026
  • Must schedule UPS pickup via iServices no later than: Monday, April 27, 2026, 1:00PM MT
  • Last day for UPS pickup: Tuesday, April 28, 2026

Options for Returning Spanish Reading SBA HS PBT Materials via UPS

There are three ways you can return your Spanish Reading SBA Paper-Based Testing (PBT) materials:

1) You may schedule your own UPS pickup request via the Cognia’s iServices New Mexico online services site (opens in new tab) iServices). This window is open until Monday, April 27, 2026. NOTE: Requests placed before 12:00 PM MT (2:00 PM ET) will be scheduled for the following business day. Requests placed after 12:00 PM MT (2:00 PM ET) will be scheduled for the second business day.

2) You may hand off your sealed box of Spanish Reading SBA PBT materials, with the corresponding return shipping (RS) label affixed to the box, to your daily UPS driver, if you have one. If you do this, please be sure to let us know when this happens via e-mail at (opens in new tab)nmtechsupport@cognia.org.

3) You may drop off your sealed box of SBA PBT materials, with the corresponding RS label affixed to the box, at your local UPS store. (This would be your last resort option if none of the above work.) If you do this, please be sure to let us know when this happens via email at (opens in new tab)nmtechsupport@cognia.org.

Scheduling a UPS Pickup for Spanish Reading SBA HS Paper Test Materials

Please ensure to have your UPS Return Service (RS) Label Tracking # ready when placing your pickup request.

1) Go to (opens in new tab) iServices.
2) Select “New Mexico” from the drop-down menu and click the “Enter” button.
3) Select “UPS Pickup Request” from the left-hand side options.
4) Select the Administration from the drop-down menu (for example, Spring 2026 Spanish Reading SBA HS Test Materials Shipment.
5) Enter the UPS Tracking Number as it appears on your RS Label in the “* RS Tracking #:” field. This number will start with “1Z0W876A…”
6) You may now click the “Login” button to bring up your pickup information page.
7) Please enter a contact name, number, any special instructions, and a time and date no later than April 28, 2026, for Spanish Reading SBA High School PBT materials UPS pickup.
8) Please confirm the pickup address listed is correct and make any changes if needed.
9) Please enter the number of boxes you have being picked up and click the “Place Pickup Request” button.
10) You will then be directed to a confirmation page that should be printed out for reference in case you have any problems with the pickup. Note: there is no email confirmation that goes along with the pickup request placed.
11) Make sure the box is taped up and the RS label is firmly attached to the box before UPS arrives.
